Psittacus Cockatoo Special Hand Feeding follow-on formula is ideal for hand-rearing Cockatoo chicks (except cockatoos of Probosciger and Calyptorhynchus) from the moment when feathers begin to emerge.

Daily intake ranges between 7ml – 10ml of formula per 100g of body weight during each feeding session.

The number of feeding sessions per day depends on the parrot’s age and species.

Psittacus Cockatoo Special Hand-Feeding is recommended until the chicks have fledged.

During weaning phase, it should be gradually replaced with dry adult food.

As a follow-on hand-feeding formula this product would be used when the bird is three weeks old.

For younger birds use early-age hand-feeding formulas such as Psaittacine Crop Milk or Neonatal Hand-Feeding (both listed separately).
